Our Flow Control penstocks have a design life of 60 years
Typically, the contractor will create a flat surface within the manhole chamber to fix the penstock to. The smoother the surface finish of the concrete the better the seal will be between the penstock and the wall. We provide all required fixing bolts, chemical anchors, and an EPDM seal with every penstock.
Our penstocks for Flow Control and manhole chambers are manually operated with a T – key and have a non – rising spindle. Where required we can provide a spindle extension from the top of the penstock to the cover level.
